New for 2012! Break Course Record and Win $200 (Top Male & Top Female)

Time: On Site Registration opens at 7:15 AM at Nayatt School - 5K Race begins at 10:00 AM.
Distance: The Nayatt 5K run/walk is sanctioned and certified by USA Track and Field (USATF) for 5K (3.1 Miles).
Registration Fee: Early bird special: $18 fee for online only registrations received through February 15th. Paper and Online registrations are $25 after February 15th thru March 22nd. Registrations received on race day (March 24th) will be $30.00.
Teams: Get your family, friends, co-workers or gym mates together and run as a team. You will be timed individually and with your team. Teams are made up of 3-5 individuals (top 3 fastest times on your team count for your score). You will be eligible for both individual and team awards.
T-Shirts: Youth and adult sized cotton tshirts will be available race day on a first come, first served basis. For participants in the 5k, Kids 1 Mile and the Kids 1/3 Mile Runs. Arrive early to check in and register and ensure you receive a tshirt.
Packet Pickup: Pre-race packet up pickup occurs Friday, March 23 at Nayatt School 9:00am - 10:30am and 2:50pm - 4:30pm at the Nayatt School Lobby. 400 Nayatt Road, Barrington, RI 02806
Awards: $100 cash prize to top overall male and female finishers. Break course record in 2012 and win an additional $200. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place finishers for males and females in each of the following age catagories: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
5K Course: A beautiful, scenic route that winds through Barrington neighborhoods, around Nayatt School and along the banks of the Barrington River. The race starts and finishes at Nayatt School, located at 400 Nayatt Road, Barrington, RI.
Additional Information: Course certified by Ray Nelson and electronic timing through RaceWire. Help us give back...Bring a non-perishable food item for our Tap-In donation and get a raffle ticket for great prizes. For your safety, strollers, rollerblades and dogs are prohibited from the race course. Headphones are permitted, but strongly discouraged. If you wear headphones, please be courteous to other runners.
